The project, initiated by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, is implemented under the "New Generation Lithuania" program as part of the economic recovery and resilience building design plan. Objective: Aimed at addressing the shortage of private electric vehicle charging station networks by funding the installation of standard and medium-power charging points near individual homes and apartments. Additionally, this joint project aims to create conditions for residents to charge electric vehicles at their workplaces. Installation Sites: Purchase and installation (or legal leasing) of new private electric vehicle charging points, i.e., purchasing one or more charging stations or stations with one or more access points, at individual residences, gardens; courtyards of apartment buildings, parking lots, and garages; lighting infrastructure; workplaces (companies, institutions, organizations).
Implementation Period: 44 months (September 2022 - March 2026); Latest update: The purchase and installation of equipment must not be earlier than April 1, 2023.
Subsidy Quantity: 53,200 (number of private electric vehicle charging piles installed and put into use in individual residences and gardens)
Total Subsidy Budget: €44,942,457.71 (funds from the New Generation Lithuanian Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan)
Power and Quantity Requirements: Multiple installations allowed, up to 22 kW for natural persons and up to 44 kW for legal entities.
Dynamic Load Balancing: Optional for natural persons, mandatory for legal entities.
Other Requirements: Equipment must be new and unused, and must be shockproof, waterproof, and dustproof.
