Overview of Charging Station

Mar.11.2024

As the continous improvement of China's economic and social development, the number of automobile ownership continues to climb. Striving to develop electric vehicles can accelerate the substitution of fuel, reduce vehicle waste emissions, and is of great significance in ensuring energy security, promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, controlling air pollution, and promoting China's development from a large automobile country to a great automobile country.

However, the bottleneck of the number of EV chargers has been revealed by the accelerated development of new energy vehicle industry. At present, China's development of pure electric-based new energy vehicle industrial policy is increasingly clear, according to national planning, EV chargers and electric vehicles will be popularized in the ratio of 1:1, which means that EV chargers will inevitably usher in a construction peak.

EV chargers generally provide two types of charging methods: conventional charging and fast charging.

People can use a specific charging card to swipe on the human-computer interaction interface provided by the charger for operations such as the corresponding charging method, charging time, cost data printing, etc. The EV charger screen can display the charging quantity, cost, charging time and other data. AC charger is with smaller power, charges slow, suitable for home use;

DC EV charger/ charging equipment is with large power, charges fast, mostly used in public place.

DC Charging Point

The input goes through circuit that is protected by small short circuit breaker, surge protector, small leakage short circuit breaker providing overload, short circuit, lightning and leakage protection respectively, AC smart meter for power measurement, AC contactor for the main circuit control, and finally be output to the charging connector to charge the electric vehicle.

AC Charging Point

The input goes through circuit that is protected from overload, short circuit, lightning and leakage by miniature short circuit breaker, surge protector and miniature leakage short circuit breaker respectively, AC smart energy meter for power measurement, AC contactor that controls the main circuit, and finally be output to the charging connector to charge the electric vehicle.
